I don’t really use it but get the strangest emails trying to get me to revisit the site. Recently: Interested in Serial Killers? Come see what Pinterest has to offer!
The hell? I mean, is it owned by the same company as OKCupid or something?

Interested in Serial Killers?
One night shift back in summer of 2014, I was really pissed about something, probably something to do with sand or chemicals or something. Someone was like chill out James, smile. Well apparently when I did that I had the smile of a serial killer. So they started looking up famous serial killers to see which one I looked like. They didn’t find one, but they found one that looked almost identical to a company man that was on day shift, so they were like James print a bunch of these out and we’ll hang them up.
Well one made it into the trailer where we had out safety meeting. A week or so later another company man who wasn’t present at the time when I printed them out saw it and just started laughing in the middle of the safety meeting.

There are more traditional ways to come out of the closet, but I support your decision to tell us this way ;)

Want to really never be productive again? Start looking up home made tool plans, or garage organization ideas.

Pinterest was originally deep on the girl side of the internet. I don’t know when guys got into it, but it was well along by the time they did. Now there are sort of two different worlds that coexist there - the girl and boy side, if you will, on the same site. Guys follow certain stuff that girls don’t care about, and vice-versa.

Someone in our office found (essentially) GlamourShots of one of our male employees somewhere on the internet. There’s one hanging in the kitchen to this day as a warning to anyone else who comes for an interview.

That’s awesome, I guess it’s true what they say about putting things on the internet.
